Emerald Green Lacquered Low Table with Central Stainless Steel Ice Bucket

This exceptionally rare square low table originates from the Studio Willy Rizzo collection, produced in-house. Designed and made in the early 1970s, it reflects Rizzo’s refined blend of cinematic glamour, geometric simplicity, and artisanal precision. The model is part of the TR series, characterized by its softly rounded corners and low floating base that creates a sense of visual lightness.

The table features a deep emerald-green patinated lacquer, applied by hand to achieve a subtle cloudy depth and a luminous sheen. At its center lies a recessed stainless-steel bucket, designed as an integrated champagne or cocktail cooler. The contrast between the mirror-polished steel and the rich lacquer surface defines the sophisticated aesthetic typical of Rizzo’s studio work.

In mint condition, the lacquer remains flawless, with full color saturation and original gloss. Signed Willy Rizzo on the edge. This is a collector-grade example, among the finest preserved from Rizzo’s own atelier, and highly sought after for its rare color and impeccable finish.
