An extraordinary modular sofa from the Voyage Immobile collection by Roche Bobois, designed by Studio Roche Bobois in the 1990s. Created during the period when Roche Bobois introduced the Les Voyages line, the design reflects the growing influence of globally inspired interiors and relaxed nomadic living.

This configuration consists of six individual elements including one corner unit, four lounge modules and one ottoman. The system allows for endless layout possibilities, adapting effortlessly to different spaces and interior compositions.

Upholstered in the original “Carpe Diem” textile, the sofa features a richly textured woven fabric with layered stripes in terracotta, sand, ochre and faded reds. The tactile textile and earthy palette evoke the relaxed bohemian interiors of Ibiza and Tulum, where natural textures and informal luxury define the atmosphere.

Each element functions independently, allowing the composition to evolve over time. The adjustable backrests add further flexibility and transform the sofa from structured seating into a relaxed lounge environment or cinematic daybed arrangement.

Now discontinued and increasingly difficult to assemble in larger configurations, this piece represents a distinctive example of Roche Bobois’ 1990s modular lounge design. A striking statement piece perfectly suited for bohemian, coastal, wabi sabi and contemporary architectural interiors.
