Introduced in 1979, the Ringo sofa is one of the most distinctive and enduring designs by Gerard van den Berg, co founder of Montis. Conceived as a study in comfort and material expression, the model departs from rigid modernist principles in favor of soft volume, tactile richness and an inviting, almost instinctive seating experience.

Executed in original thick buffalo leather, this example stands out through its exceptional surface quality. The leather has developed a deep, natural patina with a refined interplay of warm cognac tones and darker undertones. The design is defined by its generous, enveloping form.
