These stunning and rare vintage sofas, known as the “Bengodi,” were designed by the iconic Italian architect and designer Cini Boeri for Arflex in the 1970s. Their invitingly soft lines and deep seating make them a perfect fit for refined, bohemian, or eclectic interiors — from Milanese modernism to relaxed Ibizan chic.

Upholstered in supple original cognac leather, the sofas feature beautiful natural patina and gentle creasing that enhance their sculptural silhouette. The deep seat and generous proportions speak of both comfort and character. Both sofas are fully labeled and present beautifully from all angles.

The condition is very good vintage, with normal signs of use consistent with age. The leather has aged gracefully, showing richness and warmth without compromising integrity or comfort.

Cini Boeri (1924–2020) was a pioneering figure in Italian design. A protégée of Gio Ponti and collaborator of Marco Zanuso, her work is renowned for its blend of elegance, innovation, and user-centered thinking.
